TIVES  Support the development of harmonised international IM policies & regulations;  Facilitate the development and implementation of harmonised international IM standards for IM products, during their entire lifecycle;  Promote and share the benefits of IM technological progress Aim Increase the operational benefits for the Armed Forces through the use of Insensitive Munitions IMEMG Expert Working Groups host a comprehensive range of industry expertise on various issues, such as:  IM Characterisation ad Qualification  Ageing Processes  Hazard Assessment & Classification  Cost & Benefit Analysis  Test Procedures Such groups, launched on either a permanent basis or for a set period of 2 to 3 years, issue recommendations of the evolution of NATO and UN standards, and account for their work at specific international conferences or IM symposia. IMEMG encourages different viewpoints to be aired, and aims at forging a common understanding on IM issues. International conferences, such as IMEMTS, are held in cooperation with the US National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA). IMEMG also organises IM Days to provide IM European stakeholders with a unique forum, with the support of the European Defence Agency (EDA) and the NATO Munition Safety Information Analysis Center (MSIAC).
