The California Central Coast Chapter of the International Facility Management Association strives to be the association of ch ... oice for facilities professionals, technical service consultants, and other facility-related product and service providers which comprise the workplace management professions. We will provide an opportunity for information sharing, networking, learning and professional development of all members. The California Central Coast Chapter, chartered in January 1996, has over 40 members from Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties. Members come together for lunches, dinners, and happy hours to connect and network with people from a myriad of diverse companies, as well as share current common practices and discuss new innovative ideas with one another. Past presentations and workshops we have hosted have included strategic planning, design, ergonomics, ADA, design/build, energy management, benchmarking, airport renovations, maintenance management and CAFM systems. Members also get to participate in tours of county jails, solar panel facilities, high-rise hotel buildings, green buildings, wineries, and concert halls. Interested in learning more?
