Since 2011, HV Paws has been partnering with organizations supporting E ... motional Wellness Programs in Westchester, Orange, Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess Counties in NY and Fairfield County in CT. We provide support for Hospitals and Nursing Homes, Stress Relief in Corporations, Universities, Mental Health Facilities, Active Duty Soldiers, Veterans and Families, Children’s Reading Programs, Special Needs Children and Adults with PTSD. OUR TEAMS: All HV Paws dog handlers are registered Therapy Teams. Each member works with his/her own dog, is highly trained and covered by insurance. All of our teams are registered with the AMERICAN RED CROSS and work frequently to support US military active duty soldiers, veterans and their families, as well as cadets at West Point Military Academy. OUR MISSION: To increase the number of Therapy Dog Teams so that HV Paws can make a positive difference in more lives. We will continue to do our part to increase public awareness and appreciation of the benefits of Pet Therapy so that this holistic approach becomes widely accepted. read more
