The first HTL opened in Stockholm, May 2014 and two HTLs opened in Oslo during spring 2015. The fourth one will open in Stockholm during fall 2015. HTL hotels have been rebranded and redone as Scandic hotels. After two successful years with acknowledgements by guests from 100 different countries, recognition by Wallpaper* City Guides, Time Out and The Guardian, HTL has merged into Scandic.
