It was founded in 2000 by Marco Odijk and is a registered member of the KNBSB (Royal Dutch Baseball and Softball Federation). In 2015 HSV Houten Dragons got recognized for their administrative developments and was awarded the honor title of "Sports Organization of 2015" by the KNBSB.
