The district has an estimated population of 25,000, spanning some 143 square miles. The communities of the Town and Village of Horseheads, Big Flats, Veteran, Breesport, Pine Valley, Erin, Millport, Cayuta, Catlin, and portions of adjacent communities make up the district.
