We own and run a number o ... f outlets in Manchester & Bury, including bars & restaurants for arts centres & theatres as well as our own craft brewery at Britannia Mill. We also manage festival bars and supply beers to outlets across the North West. The H&P family is the ongoing legacy of the years of work put into some of Manchester's best-loved bars and restaurants by Lee Hollinworth and Lottie Price. The husband and wife team have helped reshape Manchester's restaurant experience since the 90s, specialising in fantastic quality casual menus in stylish surroundings with an accent on great service. Lee and Lottie's individual projects have included the Croma chain, Contact Theatre's popular Deluxe Bar and the Cornerhouse Cafe Bar. The current H&P family includes Automatic Cafe at The Met in Bury (opened 2002) - an all-day restaurant, bar & cocktail lounge which has become a firm favourite for gig-goers and Bury's shoppers and drinkers alike. The Clarence (opened 2014) is a lovingly-restored 4-floor 19th century town centre pub that has become a must-visit dining destination. The Clarence has twice won 'Food Pub of The Year' at the Manchester Food & Drink Festival Awards. We're also delighted to run the cafe bar and First Floor restaurant at HOME, Manchester's stunning purpose-built arts centre. We run a flexible, welcoming and social bar alongside a superb restaurant menu perfect for event dining whether you're taking in a theatre show, grabbing a bite before the cinema, or just looking for somewhere unique to eat in Manchester. We also now run our own small-batch brewery, Silver Street Brewing Co, born in the basement of The Clarence, which has grown into its own premises. Lottie passed away in 2016; Hollinworth & Price as a group of companies is our first step towards recognising the phenomenal passion and positivity put into all these businesses by her. read more
