Jack began selling Red Ball fire extinguishers in the local area farming community in northwest Iowa. Since its modest beginnings in 1947, Heiman Fire Equipment has evolved into a multi-faceted company with over 50 employees, 16 fire salesmen in 7 states, and 4 industrial salesmen.
