Bringing together research and development excellence from across the North of England the Health eResearch Centre (www.herc.ac.uk) is streamlining the pace of progress in UK-health by turning under-used health data into new knowledge. Cross-sector, cross-discipline and with the financial backing of a nine-strong consortium of awarding organisations HeRC provides a universal health data science offering to academia, the NHS and a multitude of industry partnerships. At the heart of our work is one central aim: to improve UK health and health services for the good of the general public and their families.
