The Harvard Arab Students Association ("HASA") was founded in 2011 by two Arab students on-campus, Sa'ed Atshan and Aya Mahgo ... ub, who focused on three primary objectives: First, HASA aims to build an Arab community at Harvard that includes all schools and all regions of the Arab world. Together, we can speak with a united voice about topics from the countries we call home. Secondly, HASA aims to build meaningful outward connections, both with Arab alumni from Harvard as well as Arabs in the Boston region. Thirdly, HASA aims to promote employment opportunities for Arab students, with Boston companies, companies in the Middle East, and international organizations that represent our countries, such as the United Nations. Students at HASA represent every graduate school at Harvard as well as 20 different Arab League countries. We are proud of the diversity that our students bring. If you are an Arab student at Harvard and would like to get involved, please reach out to us at harvardarabs@gmail.com. Any Arab student at Harvard is eligible to be part of the HASA.
