Tees Valley Pathways & Routeways This is a £28m programme which supports young people across the Tees Valley aged 15 to 29 ye ... ars old who are unemployed to progress into Education, Employment or Training. It is delivered by a consortium of 22 Delivery Partners and managed by Hartlepool Borough Council with part-funding from the European Social Fund and support under the Youth Employment Initiative. Routes to Work If you are over the age of 30 and your personal circumstances make it difficult to find employment then this programme provides tailored support to meet your individual needs and support you back into the workplace. You will be given a named Key Worker who will support you with specialist training before working with you to find the right job. It is funded by Tees Valley Combined Authority through devolved funding from the Department of Work & Pensions ESF Tees Valley Community Grants The programme will make available small grants of between £10,000 to £20,000 for third sector and other small organisations across the Tees Valley. This will mobilise disadvantaged or excluded unemployed and inactive people to enable their progress into employment. There is £2.7m of grant funding available and the programme is jointly funded by the European Social Fund and the Education and Skills Finding Agency with all grants needing to be awarded by 31st December 2020. Volunteer Hartlepool We are wholly committed to supporting individuals to enhance their personal, social and employability skills by providing access to placements. The Volunteer Hartlepool Portal is managed by the Council’s Learning & Skills Service and currently offers over 200 opportunities across sectors including Retail, Horticulture, Health & Social Care Catering and Administration.
