Since then it has grown to be the largest training provider in the Great Southern Region covering an area of approximately 40,500 square kilometres with four regional campuses. The institute operates from more than ten sites throughout the Great Southern Region including major campuses at Albany, Mt Barker, Denmark and Katanning, and is committed to serving the Vocational Education and Training needs of the people in the region. As a quality endorsed Registered Training Organisation, the Great Southern Institute of Technology is committed to providing fully qualified trainers for all course delivery. The organisation employs approximately 350 lecturing staff across the Great Southern Region, delivering both full and part-time courses.
