Mobility in the Greater Houston area is getting a significant boost with the next stages of construction on the 184-mile SH 9 ... 9 Grand Parkway Highway Project. Grand Parkway Infrastructure (GPI), a collaboration between Ferrovial Agroman, Webber LLC., and Granite Construction, Inc., was awarded the design-build contract for Segments H, I-1 & I-2 by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) in 2017. The Project represents a 52.8-mile corridor spanning Chambers, Harris, Liberty and Montgomery counties, northeast of Houston, TX. Construction of new lanes and the modernization of the existing tolling infrastructure will improve safety and reliability, improve mobility and support business and community growth.
