Bulk water supply is principally from the Goulburn/Broken, Murray, Steavenson, Rubicon and Delatite River systems and a number of smaller local streams such as Sunday Creek and Seven Creeks. The Goulburn Valley region is known as 'the food bowl of Australia'. The Corporation services major companies operating food processing plants in the region that require large volumes of high quality water and their wastewater streams create unique environmental challenges.
