The US Branch is licensed as a domestic insurance/reinsurance company in all 50 states and territories for all major business lines. After a series of profitable partnerships and a new focus on North American expansion in 2010, GUSB began underwriting CSA’s travel insurance portfolio - a $75 million/year business venture that placed Generali among the top competitors in the US travel insurance market. Plans for the Generali US Branch Global Corporate & Commercial (GC&C) initiative were approved by EOY 2014, and by Q1 2015 the GC&C team was assembled with some of the best underwriters in the industry and an impressive portfolio was already in the works.
