Archives play a critical role in government transparancy and the preservation of our history. Gelders Archief (Gelders Archiv ... es) is one of the largest archives in the Netherlands. We work for the municipalities of Arnhem, Renkum, Rheden, Rozendaal, Overbetuwe and the regional water board Waterschap Vallei and Veluwe. Our current analog collection stretches for 30 kilometres and the digital collection is growing. Gelders Archief focusses on a digital future: digital archiving, digital services and digital information management. This strategic policy is the implementation of the (national) e-Depot for the storage of digital records and the development of our online services. read more
