Members represent corporate, nonprofit and government sectors, and the Chapter is affiliated with the Bethune-Cookman University Student Vision Chapter of FPRA. We promote the highest standards of professional public relations ethics and provide a forum for the exchange of PR knowledge, trends, ideas and innovations. FPRA has 1,200 members statewide and is dedicated to developing public relations practitioners who utilize ethical practices to enhance the public relations profession. The Volusia/Flagler Chapter was established March 1, 1974, as the Surf Chapter, then became the Volusia County Chapter. In November 2007, the chapter name changed again to the Volusia/Flagler Chapter of FPRA. For more than 40 years, the chapter has provided professional development, leadership and networking opportunities for public relations professionals in the two-county area. read more
