The Forum Montesquieu is a center for societal innovation dedicated to creating a new platform for teaching, research and pro ... fessional development in the fields of law and political science. This "Excellence Initiative" accredited unit aims to promote and enhance the University of Bordeaux's assets both as a leading research and higher education institution and as a real player in regional development. Research, training, knowledge development, strengthening socio-economic partnerships and taking an active part in campus life – these are the Forum’s "raison d’être." Through its three main axes – the labo (“lab”), the “club” (“club”) and the “maison” (“house”) – the Forum combines innovation and knowledge transfer for players in the socio-economic and scientific worlds, students and civil society, in all of its projects on both a local and an international scale. In the context of its growing activities and projects, the Forum Montesquieu works in partnership with a wide variety of academics and contributors, including 250 teacher-researchers within the University of Bordeaux's Law Faculty, 400 volunteers within the Law Clinic alone, and 8 different legal research centres throughout France. read more
