Flatten is a federally incorporated not-for-profit organization in Canada that has developed a tool to gather self-reported h ... umanitarian and preclinical symptomatic data. We collect crowdsourced data using our tool to achieve 2 goals: 1) help public health to understand how they prevent overwhelmed healthcare systems 2) identify the social and economic needs of individuals at the zipcode level to enable different government bodies (mental health associations, pharmacies, food distribution centers, financial institutions etc) to help target help at communities where it is most needed. We also allow the public to view portions of our data in the form of a heatmap where the self-reported data is aggregated and mapped and shared with public health.
