The Murrell family perfected their simple system, a fifth brother was born and as their family grew so did their business. Early in 2003, the five “guys” family began offering franchise opportunities. Within just 18 months, they sell their franchise territory of over 300 units. Five Guys begins to further expand to over 1,000 locations in the US and Canada and in 2013 opens their first location in the UK. Now, over 20 years after the Murrell family first opened Five Guys, there are more than 1,500 locations open in North America, Canada, UK, Middle East, Europe and growing.
