FHU-DDS Paris Network is dedicated to Dental DiseaSes. This federation of research laboratories hosted in AP-HP and the Unive ... rsity de Paris constitutes a unique template to integrate tooth diseases in a larger frame for regional but also national purposes. Our major goal its be to gather the different stakeholders involved in DDS in a unique and powerful network to rationally design the patient circuitry and related translational research plans for the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of DDS including : 1) DDS associated with genetic diseases, 2) DDS related to environment and endocrine disruptors; as well as special emphasis to secondary DDS events as pain, neuropathies, behaviour and life quality alteration. FHU promote actions on: • diagnosis and treatment • multidisciplinary networking centered on the patient • external connection for regional communities and practitioners. The FHU support research programs that 1) study the genetics and the pathophysiology underlying the DDS, 2) develop innovative tissue engineering strategies and (EDs-free) materials and translate them in clinics. read more
