KG (founded in 1947 and known then as "Dr. Fritz Faulhaber Feinmechanische Werkstätten") and was decisive in shaping drive technology. This newly developed technology was the bell-type armature motor. It forms the foundation for the enormous range of drive solutions offered by FAULHABER. The most important element of this motor is its self-supporting, coreless skew-wound design developed by Dr. Fritz Faulhaber and registered for patent in 1965.
