In 2021, Evergreen more than doubled our recycling and rPET manufacturing capacity with the acquisition of additional recycling/rPET manaufacturing facilities in Albany, NY; Riverside, CA; and Amherst, Nova Scotia. Thanks to our team, advanced recycling technologies and processes, strong customer relationships and growing capacity, Evergreen is today among the nation’s largest plastic (PET) recyclers, processing more than two billion post-consumer PET bottles a year. We are the preferred supplier of food-grade RPET pellets and flake to many top global brands, helping customers increase recycled content in their plastic packaging, avoid landfills, meet consumer expectations, achieve sustainability goals and more fully participate in Environmental, Social and Governance programs. Evergreen has embarked on a major expansion of our Clyde facility that will take our annual production capacity at this single location to more than 120 million pounds of rPET annually.
