The Regulation on Matrimonial Property and the Regulation on Property of Registered Partnerships (Twins Regulations, No. 1103 ... and No. 1104/2016) provide a regulatory framework for family property regimes in the European Union. The role of lawyers, notaries, mediators, and judges is pivotal to increase the actual application of the EU instruments but the lack of specific and updated training activities could be an obstacle to this fundamental task. The Project aims to: contribute to an effective application of EU family law for cross border couples; offer e-learning courses and materials concerning Twins Regulations; create a cross-border network of EU legal professionals specialized in Twin Regulations and improve their cooperation. read more
