The iconic Emporium Hotel is Australia's most awarded boutique luxury hotel brand. It was the very first of its kind in Brisb ... ane, not only setting a new benchmark in luxury accommodation but, as part of the Emporium mixed-use precinct, was the major catalyst for the urban renewal and revival of Fortitude Valley and surrounds. Emporium was the sole vision of two dedicated property and design-driven Queenslanders, Anthony and Francine John of the Anthony John Group. Together they have conceived, designed, created and delivered a hotel without equal in Queensland. The design architecture of the hotel was driven by owner, Francine John who created the overall concept, inspired by the frangipani flower. The majority of the design features were sourced locally by Queensland based artists and suppliers.
