These classes, in woodworking and furniture, sewing and fashion, fiber arts, book arts, painting, drawing, photography and mixed media, reach people of all ages and all walks of life. Founded as a grammar school in 1676, the Eliot School turned its focus in the late 19th century to the manual arts.
