Elaia was founded in 2007 through the partnership of Nutrinveste and Atitlan with the mission of planting 10.000 hectares of ... olive groves and produce excellent quality olive oils. Currently, we manage 15.000 hectares with 12.000 hectares of modern irrigated olive groves in 80 farms and 4 state of the art olive mills in Portugal, Spain and Morocco. Even though we are present in 3 countries, it is in Portugal, more specifically in Alentejo, where most of our farms are located and 2 of our mills – Lagar do Marmelo in Ferreira do Alentejo and Lagar do Painho in Avis. Both iconic buildings and symbols of the modernization of the agricultural sector in the region. We thrive to ally productivity and innovation with sustainability. Our productive process follows the highest standards of quality from the field through to the mills, guaranteeing full traceability, supported in the latest technologies.
