It all started when innovator and technical engineer Thorbjörn Geiser discovered the huge energy inefficiency in most buildings’ climate control. All available systems used outdoor temperature to regulate indoor climate. No system took the building’s own possibility to store heat into account. No system was able to pro-act according to tomorrow’s weather. A reactive climate control system means energy waste and unnecessary CO2 emissions. Thorbjörn wanted to change that. So, he started up a collaboration with a weather institute and developed an adaptable software that optimized indoor climate and energy use based on the building’s physics and weather forecast.
