Welcome to the Edinburgh Student Arts Festival. The inaugural Edinburgh Student Arts Festival (ESAF) is Edinburgh’s first cit ... y-wide student arts festival that brings together all five higher education and further education institutions across the city. Over the last three years our organisation has worked with over 1,000 emerging creatives, engaged with over 4,000 members of the public and supported over 300 volunteers. ESAF is a social enterprise that initially provided emerging creatives with a platform to showcase their work to the public. We have since evolved into an organisation that provides a space for anyone to give creativity a go. We believe everyone has creative potential and we promote cultural participation through training, skills and career development opportunities for our members. We work with our partners to provide and create fresh content making the creative sector more accessible via podcasts, docu-series and interactive events. We also run an annual, award-winning, multi-arts festival that brings together students and graduates from all higher and further education institutions in Edinburgh. We are the winners of the Social Enterprise Scotland Inspiring Youth Enterprise Award 2016, the Social Innovation Ideation and Incubation Award 2016, and were listed as one of the top ten most socially innovative social enterprise in Scotland in 2016.
