We are Ecurie Aix, the Formula Student Team of RWTH Aachen University. Formula Student is the world's largest design competit ... ion for future engineers. Every year, we manufacture a fully electric race car and convert a previous year's vehicle into an autonomous vehicle. With these vehicles, we compete against teams from all over the world on the most famous racetracks in Europe. Although the development, design and production of our vehicles is in the hands of our student team members, we are supported by many institutes from our university as well as industrial partners. Together, it is our common goal to have lighter, more efficient and faster vehicles racing over the track every year. But it's not all about technology: the economic efficiency, organisation and presentation of our club and vehicles is also evaluated at competitions. More than 70 active team members and around 400 alumni have so far taken the opportunity with Ecurie Aix to make their studies more versatile.
