The Easts Group comprises of five Registered clubs (Bondi Junction, Kingswood, Berkeley, Waverley and Woy Woy) and the mighty ... Sydney Roosters. The history of the Easts Group | Sydney Roosters spans over 100 years. The Clubs objective was to provide a club facility for local members and guests and to support and further develop rugby league in the Eastern Suburbs area commencing in the 1950's. In 1999, The Easts Group was created with an amalgamation with Kingswood Bowling Club, now known as Kingswood Sports Club. Easts then amalgamated with Berkeley Sports and Social Club in 2002, followed by Waverley Bowling and Recreation Club in 2010 and Woy Woy Leagues Club in 2012. The Sydney Roosters were formed in 1908 at Paddington Town Hall and are a foundation member of the NRL competition.
