The sports facilities are first class and comprise a large games hall, 2 gymnasiums, a fitness suite and 2 all weather pitches, serviced by floodlights. The school has a positive, inclusive, caring ethos. It is designated to make provision for pupils with significant additional support needs arising from a range of factors. Pupils with additional support needs are taught alongside their peers in mainstream classes and, where appropriate, in a specially designed learning centre which is an integral part of the school.
