Dundee College is a further and higher education college in the city of Dundee, Scotland. Established in 1985 by the merger of Dundee College of Commerce and Kingsway Technical College, Dundee College offers courses for people over the age of sixteen, involving school-level qualifications such as Higher Grade exams, work-based learning, vocational training as well as Further and Higher Education programmes leading to nationally and internationally recognised qualifications including SQA National and Higher National Certificates and Diplomas. The College has two campuses in the city the Kingsway Campus and the recently-opened £48million Gardyne Campus. Dundee College has a number of centres of excellence including a New Media Centre which gives students access to the latest technology for working and learning in industries such as web design and developing skills using graphic and animation software; outstanding media production facilities including digital TV and radio studios, editing and digital image manipulation suites; and The Space, a purpose-built venue for performance and training.
