Dreaminq is a student organization at Oklahoma State University that seeks to improve on the opportunity of higher education ... within Oklahoma. Our organization facilitates a peer-based mentorship program to alleviate the difficulties associated with navigating the college process alone. By pairing college students to high school students across the state, those new to the college process will have the opportunity to have a mentor in the preparation, application, and adaptation processes. During a high school student’s two year tenure within our program, their mentor will meet with them on a monthly basis to discuss both higher education and future goals. Our organization also provides an easily navigable curriculum and other support programs to the high school students in an effort to streamline the process and reveal to our students that their dreams are not as far out of reach as they seem. read more
