Double H is a full service contract manufacturing and metal fabrication company offering manufacturing and assembly services ... primarily in the Heavy Truck Industry. Founded in 1982 by Heath Crysler (Michigan Wire Cloth, Werner Inc.) and “ Joe” Hradil (Solder-Craft, Inc.), Double H began by providing to, then Detroit Diesel Allison, assembly, welding and brazing services. By 1987, Double H expanded into a new facility in Plymouth adding stampings, tubing, and light machining to our existing services. Over the years, we experienced steady growth and, as a result, relocated in 1990 to our current, 20,000 sq/ft, state-of-the-art facility located in Westland Michigan. Here that we added machining, plasma cutting and robotic welding. Under the Engineering expertise of Heath Crysler and the visibility of Joe Hradil, Double H contributed to several design changes for product improvement, which includes products such as Piston Pin Retainers, Oil Pick-Up Tube Assemblies, and Cooler Plate Assemblies.
