Kushies has continued to expand and enhance the resuable cloth diaper to its current offering of three alternatives: Ultra Kushies, Classic Kushies and Diaper Basic. Today, Kushies Baby Products remains a market leader in the production of resusable cloth diapers. Since the introduction of the reusable cloth diaper, Kushies Baby Products has so continued to expand into other product offerings to now be recognized as a manufacturer and distributor of a full line of baby products that are currently available in over thirty countries around the world and as "Kushies" in the United States. In 1996, with the assistance of the Canadian International Development Agency, the organization entered into a joint venture in China to bring "Kushies" to this emerging country and capitalize on the significant opportunities this region offered. The joint venture presently operates a 1,800 square metre manufacturing and distribution facility in Changzhou, Province of Jiangsu, China. While drawing predominantly on the local labour force, the Joint Venture is managed by Ray Perez, formerly Director of International Sales Kushies Baby Products in Canada. The company continues to also manufacture and distribute health care/medical products under their "Freestyle" line.
