The DC Schools Project is an ESL and English literacy tutoring, mentoring, and advocacy program of the Center for Social Just ... ice. Serving DC's low-income immigrant youth and their families, it was established in 1984 in response to the massive influx of Central American immigrants to the DC area during the Salvadoran Civil War.
