Crossover St Paul's was founded by its local church, St Paul's in Bordesley Green, in 1993, as a response to a need we identi ... fied in our community for accessible support and advice in accessing jobs and employment. We have two parts - a Charity and a Social Enterprise. The Charity, Crossover 619 Limited, has a Resource and Learning Centre. as an outworking of the mission of the church and as such has an ethical approach valuing the uniqueness of each individual. We help our clients to improve their lives with advice in finding work, including Cvs and applications. We hold Work Clubs. We do not believe that prior experience of education is a barrier to opportunity and we have experienced friendly teachers and tutors ready to help our clients develop and improve their skills and confidences in the Basic Skills, especially ESOL. Our Social Enterprise consists of St Paul's Day Nursery, St Paul's Centre and Crossover Cafe. Ofsted approved our Nursery as “Outstanding” during its inspection in March 2014. It caters for children from 0 to 5 years old in well-equipped and staffed rooms. The Nursery is competitively priced and offers a safe, secure environment for parents to leave their children whilst attending work or training. One mother stated, “My son quickly settled into St Paul’s Nursery. I believe this was because of the calm, friendly and professional attentiveness of the staff there.” St Paul’s Centre is a beautiful conference centre which offers large, medium and small meeting spaces to meet a wide range of needs at affordable prices. Excellent meals or snacks can be provided as part of the package. Crossover Cafe is located on a busy high street, adjacent to a bus stop to the City Centre. As a Community Cafe, a warm welcome can be guaranteed. All food is freshly cooked and tastes delicious. We serve a range of meals and drinks to suit varied diets at very reasonable prices.
