CovidRxExchange is a nonprofit organization formed at the onset of Covid-19 in the US. The intent is to disseminate medical e ... xpertise and insight amongst the global doctor's community treating and managing Covid-19. The initiative gathered momentum and shortly build to deliver events, realtime advice, and disseminate knowledge artifacts amongst doctors. Early on, it was informal, however, a website was built to share knowledge repositories and Slack was leveraged to facilitate realtime collaboration amongst the global doctor's community while treating the patients. Currently, it acts as a live umbilical cord for those who are managing Covid-19 patients, especially in the peripheral and mid-cities in developing countries. The expertise and events are mostly from the developed world, not necessarily the US, UK but also from the metropolitan cities within developing nations where the magnitude of disease burden is significant. Post the acute phase of the pandemic, we have currently embarked on our next phase of building a medical and nonmedical industry consortium and collaboration to identify potential areas to redress the consequences of pandemic and identify mitigation measures for the current and any similar pandemic. read more
