Serving Cornell students, faculty, staff, visitors, and their families, CUEMS responds to all 911 calls for medical assistance twenty-four hours a day, seven days per week during the academic year. CUEMS provides extensive, weekly training to all squad members consisting of New York State certified emergency medical technicians. Moreover, CUEMS offers training to the entire Cornell community in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, automated external defibrillation, first aid, and activation of emergency medical services.
