Consorzio Pisa Ricerche is a consortium of public and industrial research centers: University of Pisa, Scuola Normale Superiore, Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare (INFN), Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR), Ente per le Nuove tecnologie, l'Energia e l'Ambiente (ENEA), Alcatel Alenia Space - Finmeccanica, Kayser Italia, ENI, Piaggio, Avio. It is an open and flexible structure, able to take on initiatives proposed by external subjects, as well as to undertake projects of its own, by drawing on human resources and expertise from the surrounding research and industry environment.
