The Connecticut Junior Republic (CJR) provides a full continuum of care, treatment and education services for at-risk, specia ... l needs, and troubled boys, girls and families in 11 locations throughout Connecticut. All CJR programs are directed toward helping young people become productive and contributing members of their homes, schools and communities. CJR's services include short-term residential care and group home transitional living for boys; regular, special, vocational and alternative education programs for boys and girls; intensive home-based, family-focused services for boys and girls; prevention and early intervention services; substance abuse prevention and treatment; and behavioral and mental health services for children, youth and families.
