Columbus Oaks Healthcare Community is a leisurely 38-minute drive from the Katy area. Columbus Oaks Skilled Nursing Facility opened in 1965. In 1987, the 100 hall was added, and in 1995 the 500 hall was added. A number of private rooms became available with these additions. The facility added a rehab/physical therapy gym in 2005. Today the skilled nursing facility is certified for 137 beds including private suites, private Medicare suites, 4 dining rooms, a physical therapy gym, a beauty salon, and a memory care unit. Columbus Oaks employs 110 staff members and is the premier nursing center in Columbus, Texas. Columbus Oaks Healthcare Community has been designed to meet the special needs of today’s active senior.
