In the 1920s the company founder Rinaldo Codello arrived in Munich from the Italian city of Turin with a passion and enthusiasm for fashion and a vision for the future. He combined the traditional and elaborate art of printing cloth with a wealth of inspiration he had gathered on his travels to faraway places. In the 1980s the ownership of the company was transferred to the Schnabl family.
