Organise events for postgraduate students to contribute to the enhancement of their professional and scholastic goals. 3. Events: - Industry insights: Speakers from the industry provide an insight into the various facets of the Civil and Environmental Engineering sector in Australia, their scopes and how students can get the edge when it comes to seeking jobs. The foregoing also includes: Resumes, cover letters, job interviews and the usage of LinkedIn and other social media networks within an industrial setting. - Networking: Most professional engineering jobs are never advertised. These are filled by engineers contacting people in their network.
