Cire Services (formerly Upper Yarra Community House) opened it’s doors in 1976, offering short hobby courses and playgroup fo ... r the local community. Since then there has been major inclusions to further grow and support the community. Our services now span 4 sites which run VET courses and early childhood education. We recently changed our name due to the organisations growth and geographical reach. We are proud of our long history however we are more than a community house so the decision was made to create a fresh look represents the organisation and all the services we deliver under the one name. Cire is one of the largest ACE organisations in Eastern Melbourne and we have pioneered successful education options for young students at risk. Cire services is a child safe organisation which is committed to upholding the Child Safety Standards. Cire believes that all children have the right to feel safe and to be safe at all times. Cire will promote the cultural safety of Aboriginal children, children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds; and promote the safety of children with a disability. We are entrusted to do the very best we possibly can to keep children in our care safe from harm; and we do this by taking steps to protect children from physical, sexual, emotional, psychological and cultural abuse and neglect.
