Circle Health runs a range of healthcare services in three main areas: hospitals, rehabilitation and management services. We ... provide these across a range of clinical areas. Circle Bath Hospital and Circle Reading Hospital are high-end, world-class independent hospitals, that opened in 2010 and 2012. Both offer a wide range of surgery and treatments with some of the UK’s leading consultants. Circle Birmingham Hospital, which is nearing completion, also has a 120-bed neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation centre for patients recovering from stroke or with conditions such as a Parkinson's. In 2014, Circle Integrated Care started a contract to run musculoskeletal services in Bedfordshire. This innovative contract is known as a ‘prime vendor’ or ‘capitated budget’ contract, where Circle is responsible for organising around 20 other service providers in the region. This coordination means that services are more integrated, provide a much more joined-up experience for the patient, and means the NHS provides services which remain free at the point of use, at lower cost. The success of this model means that Circle Integrated Care now supports musculoskeletal and dermatology services in other parts of the country. In China, Circle Harmony has opened two facilities in Shanghai as part of a plan to build 20 hospitals and clinics in the country.
