Welcome to Children’s Service Center The Children’s Service Center is a 156 year-old behavioral health organization that, ann ... ually, provides services to 5,800 children and adolescents residing in Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania. As the region’s leader in mental health services for children, CSC provides services designed to meet the individualized needs of the region’s neediest children, adolescents, and their families. The CSC’s Assessment, Crisis, and Referral Services are staffed 24-hours a day, seven days a week, by psychiatric professionals for initial assessment and referral. The CSC offers a variety of services across a continuum of care from least restrictive to residential treatment. Services provided at its Campus in Wilkes Barre, PA include: psychiatric and psychological evaluations; drug & alcohol counseling; day partial hospitalization; dialectical behavioral therapy; medication clinic; parent-child interaction therapy; community residential rehabilitation; First Episode Psychosis services; and, adoption. In addition, Community, Family-based, and School-based services are provided throughout 13 counties in Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania and include, but are not limited to: autism, behavioral health rehabilitation, functional and intensive family therapy.
