Our resort is in Pozzolengo, just south of Lake Garda, between Sirmione and Desenzano. At its heart is the ancient Benedictine abbey of San Vigilio. Built during the age of the Longobards, the abbey appears in some historic documents dating as far back as the 12th century. The careful restoration, overseen by architect Mara Paterlini of Studio Gap – Brescia, has returned the abbey to its original splendour without changing its original character. New buildings have been constructed around the abbey in a harmonious fusion of line and form, providing facilities for the spa, resort and the 36-hole golf course. read more
