Company Overview The Cherrydale Volunteer Fire Department was Arlington's first fire department (then known as the Cherrydale Fire Department). The Department, which celebrated its centennial in 1998, represents one of the last remaining operational volunteer fire departments in Arlington County. The Department houses a Light and Air unit (LA103) that provides emergency support services and a light utility vehicle (U103) that also provides emergency support services. The Department's membership is diverse and consists of operational members and administrative members.
